The Sleep Health Index™ is the population-level poll to track our nation’s changing sleep habits, problems, behaviors and beliefs. Over time, the National Sleep Foundation will be able to track the changes in American’s sleep health and demonstrate areas for sleep health improvement. The 2014 index represents the sleep health baseline for America.
For over two decades, the National Sleep Foundation has conducted a poll cataloging the state of sleep in America. Developed and implemented by statistical experts and released in conjunction with National Sleep Awareness Week, the Sleep in America™ poll provides valuable information to the general public and the sleep community. NSF encourages Americans to prioritize their sleep. Explore past Sleep In America Poll Results.
