Request for Applications: Sleep Health Policy Fellow

The National Sleep Foundation (NSF) is accepting applications for a Sleep Health Policy Fellow (Fellow) to help advance its sleep health advocacy agenda. The Fellow will develop relationships with government officials, research sleep health policy issues and advance sleep health advocacy initiatives.

Sleep Health Policy Fellow Application  includes contact information, resume/CV, personal statement, and letter from the academic institution’s program supervisor to demonstrate the applicant has flexibility to commit to the Fellowship for the duration of the term, if applicable. Candidates with an MD are strongly preferred.

Application Deadline : Friday, November 11, 2016

Applicants must submit materials via email with the subject “Sleep Health Policy Fellow – First Name Last Name” to NSF’s Program Manager of Government Affairs, Jeff Evans at, by Friday, November 11, 2016.

Candidate Notification : Friday, December 16, 2016

Fellowship Start Date : Monday, January 2, 2017

Fellowship Length : Minimum six months 

The Fellow should expect to commit between 8 and 10 hours per week to NSF-related duties.
