Former National Sleep Foundation Chairman’s Perspective Article Published in The New England Journal of Medicine

The New England Journal of Medicine published the article, “Housing Immigrant Children – The Inhumanity of Constant Illumination,” by Charles A. Czeisler, PhD, MD, on June 22, 2018. In his article, Dr. Czeisler calls out for the need to be concerned about the detrimental effects of continual artificial light exposure and the lack of natural light exposure on the sleep health of the separated immigrant children.
