Population Health and Methodology Council

The Population Health and Methodology Council is comprised of leading sleep health researchers, physicians, epidemiologists, methodologists and biostatisticians. The Council oversees sleep health initiatives, makes recommendations to advance NSF’s sleep health agenda, and provides content expertise on an as needed basis.

Additionally, the Council aims to further advance sleep health in special populations including children, women, older adults, veterans, and ethnic minorities. The Council oversees the several Task Forces, Consensus Panels and Work Groups whose work over the years have produced the Sleep Duration Recommendation , Drowsy Driving Consensus , and the Sleep Health Index , among other initiatives. Many of the reports are published in NSF’s Sleep Health Journal.
